Stonehill International School Develops library facilities for Government School

Bangalore, April 10, 2015: Stonehill International School, an Embassy Group Education initiative, inaugurated the Kitab Korner at the Stonehill Government School Library on Friday, 10th April 2015. Students from Stonehill International School, in collaboration with Kitab Korner, an NGO and Embassy Group, have been actively involved in growing and developing the library.

Students from Grade 3 of Stonehill International School held a fundraiser earlier this year to raise Rs. 27, 000/- to buy books for the library along with Grade 12 students who have been working tirelessly to paint a fun and beautiful mural on the library walls to add cheer to the library.

Kitab Korner, is an NGO that develops and builds libraries at various levels for Government Schools across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director, Embassy Group said, “We are happy to associate with the NGO, Kitab Korner for the development of reading at the Stonehill Government School Library.
